Camelus Dromedarius Man I can't pick a favorite for this album. This might be my favorite folk metal album. It has everything you could ever want out of a folk metal album - traditional instruments, traditional vocals, metal instruments backing all of it, but everything that makes it "folk" is at the centerpiece, as it should be for this subgenre (in my mind). The writing is simply superb. I often play this for people who don't actively listen to metal and end up mildly converting all of them over to it.

twistofcain Good folk metal is hard to come by. Heidevolk is the only good folk metal band I could think of before Pandora radio helped me find these guys. Favorite track: The Wolf Ritual.
